Ma-La-Tang (Spicy Homeway Soup)

Malatang is a common type of Chinese street food. Its origins trace back to Sichuan, but our Homeway version is closer to what you would find in Northern China, known as hot pot.

Our founder, Tina makes a mean hot pot that you can make to enjoy with your family right at home too. It’s easy



6oz Homeway sauce

Hot water or broth

Protein of choice (chicken, beef, pork, tofu)

Noodles (optional)


Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. If using as a soup base, add noodles. If enjoying the hot pot, move boiling broth onto a heated bowl like a crock pot. Add uncooked meats, veggies, and noodles to broth to cook.
